We’ve been listening closely, and your feedback has shaped this update. Our team has rolled out several improvements to the myKaarma’s look and feel, making it easier to use, navigate, and learn. These updates also allow for us to improve how myKaarma functions behind the scenes, making it more stable and faster for your daily use.
General Improvements
📄 New Application Header
We’ve updated the top of myKaarma to reduce clutter, improve multi-store access, and match the design of the rest of the application.
🧑🧒🧒 Updated Customer Tab
We’ve made the Customer Tab a place where you can see all the information you need to do your job. You can now see the complete messages thread, send communications, update customer info, schedule appointments, and see the customer's complete service history with quick access to previous appointments and inspections.
💬 Simplified Messages Tab
We’ve improved the Messages Tab to be more intuitive to raise the items that need to be seen. This change now makes unread messages more clear, simplifies the filtered “Views”, raises context from the last message received, and more.
🔔 Next Generation Notifier
We’ve created a new and improved notifier that makes it easier for you to manage communications and notifications in the system while taking action anywhere in myKaarma.
Messaging Improvements
📝 Drafts That Save Themselves
Your messages now auto-save—no extra steps needed.
Typed something and accidentally refreshed? Switched tabs or started helping another customer? Your draft is saved automatically in the browser cache and remains for 24 hours. Whether it’s a text, email, or internal note, your draft stays synced across all open editor windows for that customer.
📞 Add or Edit Phone & Email Without Leaving the Window
You can now update or add a customer’s phone number or email directly within the communication window—no need to switch tabs or navigate away. This works in both Customer Thread and Notifier views.
📂 Find and Use Templates More Easily
Click the new Templates button (next to emoji and attachment icons) to access all your saved templates. You can instantly search and insert the message you need—whether it's a routine update or a tailored response.
👁 Cleaner Message Threads
We've redesigned the message thread layout for better readability with improved spacing, clearer fonts, and less visual clutter.
🔃 Control the Order of Messages
You now have the option to choose how messages are ordered in the thread. Just click the three-dot menu in the thread view and select “Switch Message Order.”
