Are customers aware that the phone calls are recorded?

Yes, whenever phone calls are made through myKaarma, a message is played for both inbound and outbound calls that states the following:

Outbound (Service Advisor to Customer):

"Your Service Advisor is calling. This call may be recorded for quality purposes"

Inbound (Customer to Service Advisor):

"Please hold, you are now being connected to a Service Advisor, this call may be recorded for quality purposes"

Note that inbound and outbound messages may also include customization for your particular dealership.
