What is this feature?
This feature lets your service team quickly pull Stellantis Mopar Service Gateway (MSG) data via integration into the Scheduler+ and Mobile Check-In Tool. MSG data is populated on the scheduled appointment and by "podding" the vehicle and connecting the VIN, advisors can instantly access vehicle info, pod info, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), warranty coverage, service contracts, service history, and open customer cases at the time of customer check-in.
Why it Matters
| The Problem(s) | The Impact(s) |
| Service Advisors and BDC team members have no detail into MSG data on scheduled appointments unless leaving myKaarma. | At the time of booking and when managing appointments, the team can now review open contracts and vehicle history directly in the myKaarma Scheduler. |
| Service advisors lack quick, unified access to detailed OEM vehicle data and history during customer check-in. | Advisors can access all key Stellantis MSG data in one place for better conversations, quicker check-ins, and proactive handling of customer cases and warranty items. |
| Manually checking warranty info, service contracts, and DTCs in multiple systems slows intake and frustrates customers. | Auto-populating OEM data from the Mopar Service Gateway saves time, boosts accuracy, and enhances the customer experience by providing instant vehicle-side insights. |
How to Use It
Scheduler +
Step 1: Customer can schedule directly into myKaarma via Mopar.com
Step 2: When creating a new appointment OR reviewing a previously scheduled appointment, open up the "Campaigns" button to see open recalls, campaigns, and pertinent vehicle history.
Step 3: Review the customer detail and easily add in open campaigns/recalls to the scheduled appointment.
Mobile Check-In
Step 1: Prior to commencing the Mobile Check-in process, you are required to "pod" the vehicle. This step is essential as it transmits the podded vehicle data to the Mopar Service Gateway.
Step 2: Please navigate to your Appointment Ledger and select the customer's appointment OR Scan/input the vin to find/create an appointment
Step 3: Verify that the vehicle's VIN is linked to the customer profile. If it is not, utilize the "Scan VIN" or search function to add it.
Step 4: Once the vehicle is podded, initiate the mobile check-in process for the customer.
Step 5: On the check-in screen, tap the "OEM DATA" button located near the top left corner.
Step 6: A comprehensive list of Stellantis MSG data will be displayed. You may expand sections to review Vehicle Information, Pod Data, DTCs, Warranty Coverage, Service Contracts, Service History, and any open Customer Cases.
FAQ
Q: Why is the OEM Data button not displaying updated information?
A: Please ensure that you have "podded" the vehicle first. Podding is necessary to transmit the vehicle data to the Mopar Service Gateway, allowing updated information to be retrieved during check-in.
Q: Is it necessary to manually enter the VIN each time?
A: No. If the customer already has a VIN associated with their appointment or profile, the system will automatically populate it. You only need to scan or search for a VIN if it is not present.
Q: What specific OEM data can I access from Stellantis?
A: You may access a comprehensive range of data, including basic vehicle information, Pod data, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), warranty coverage details, service contract summaries, and any open customer cases with Stellantis.
