How to Minimize Video Upload Failures in iOS & Android Devices

DESCRIPTION OF ISSUE:

  1. When myKaarma App is closed (taken in the background) the video upload fails if the system kills the background apps

SOLUTION / PROPOSED SOLUTION FOR iOS DEVICES:

  1. Turn ON location services to “Always” for myKaarma App
  2. Go to Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Click on myKaarma App → Select Always in location access

SOLUTION / PROPOSED SOLUTION FOR ANDROID DEVICES:

  1. Turn ON location services to “Always” for myKaarma App
  2. Go to myKaarma App → Settings → Enable Location Access → Turn the Toggle ON → Click on OK → Select ALLOW ALL THE TIME  in location access

KNOWN LIMITATIONS:

  1. This will only resolve failures due to app sent to the background
  2. If your wifi restrict is ON then the videos will not upload if the wifi is not connected
  3. This is a temporary solution to minimize upload failures, we are striving hard to resolve this issue to the maximum extent possible
