Automated "Welcome Texts" connect you with your Customers effortlessly. However there are several conditions that need to be met before a WT can go out.
Conditions:
If answer to any of the following questions is NO then automated Welcome Texts will not go out
- Was the Repair Order created Today?
- Is Repair Order still Open when myKaarma received the RO?
- Has a Welcome Text gone out to the specific Customer within the last 7 days?
- Is the current time between dealership specified time windows for outbound texting?
- Has the Dealership defined delay for sending out Welcome Texts passed? This is in the form of minutes and is typically set to zero (no delay).
- Is the Service Advisor on the Repair Order setup in myKaarma as a valid user with the correct DMS ID?
- Does the Service Advisor on the RO have the authority to send Welcome Texts?
- Is the RO type "Service"?
- Is RO department not in the filter department list (specified by dealership)? There should typically be no department filters setup.
- Is any Labor Op Code from the RO in myKaarma labor op filter list (specified by dealership)? There should typically be no labor op filters setup.
- Does Customer have a valid cellphone number on the profile?
- Has Customer Not Opted Out of texting (customer can reply STOP via text at any time to stop all texting)?
If all the conditions above are true and Welcome Texts still did not go out for a specific RO, Please reach out to us via support@mykaarma.com and we will work with you to understand and correct the root cause for the problem that you observe.
