Purpose
This document describes the integrated solution between MDL and myKaarma. This integration pairs myKaarmas’ internal and customer facing messaging with the automated arrival technology provided by MDL’s RFID.
How It Works
With the integration enabled, MDL sends myKaarma an arriving guest’s VIN as soon as the guest pulls into the service drive. myKaarma in turn send a message to the assigned sales advisor notifying them that a client has arrived and potentially also customer facing message welcoming them to the dealership. myKaarma also has the ability to send a message to the client when their car is completed in the car wash.

Who Is Notified?
The assigned service advisor is messaged through the myKaarma Desktop application, allowing the advisor to text the client as long as a text messaging notifying them that the customer has entered the service drive. At the same time a text message is sent to the customer welcoming them to the dealership.
The assigned service advisor is also messaged when the customer car wash is completed and at the same time a text message can be sent to the client letting them know that their car is ready. myKaarma is able to set a delay on the car wash messaging depending on the dealership car wash process.
Arrival Notification
The customer arrival message will “pop” to the front of the desktop application screen when the customer arrives in the service drive, as seen below. The advisor has the option to text the client from the arrival pop to begin a conversation or look up more information about the client.

At the same time the customer can receive a text message welcoming them to the service drive. This message can be configured in myKaarma depending on the dealerships wants to its clients.
Car Wash Completion
The same type of notification is available for when the customer car wash is completed.

Loaner Return
The same type of notification is available for when the customer returns in a loaner car when using TSD or MDL’s Loaner Maintenance system.
